Previous Performances:
Megan has performed at several locations around the upstate including The Kroc Center, Artisphere, The Cascades, Haywood Mall, and many more. She performed with just her and her guitar in Charlotte, NC earlier this year where she sang in front of other musicians, fans, and producers. She performed an original song, along with many other songs with Riverside High?s Concert Choir on the USS Intrepid last year in New York. She has been a finalist for the past three years in The Nashville Connection, and a finalist earlier this year for The Best Singer In The District. Megan also has found a passion for musical theater this past year and earned the role of Dorothy Gale in her school?s performance of The Wizard Of Oz. Last but not least, Megan competed every Friday last summer for Greer Idol Teen and because of her determination, commitment, and hard work, she was named the winner of Greer Idol Teen 2012.

Bio:
Megan is currently 17 years old, and is a rising senior at Riverside High School. Megan spends most of her free time playing her guitar and writing songs. When she was only 13, she released a song on iTunes called ?You and Me?. Since then, she has recorded several other songs which can be heard on her Facebook Fan Page, and at reverbnation.com/meganwatts. Megan has written several other songs that have yet to be recorded, one of which placed 2nd in the state in the music writing category in the PTA Reflections contest for students. Megan hopes to get back in the studio sometime this July to record her latest song which she is very excited about. Megan?s music instruction includes guitar from Chris Cash, piano from Eric Barnhart, and vocal lessons from Robert Hoefer (Pitch Doctors).
