Singer/Songwriter, Jonathan Hannon, of Greer, SC has only just begun his musical journey. His soulful baritone voice is quick to engage an audience. He is beginning to dig deep into his own unique sound, which is inspired by a wide variety of styles and genres. Jonathan?s spark for music ignited when he picked up a guitar at age 13. He later began helping lead music in his church?s youth group, creating a burning passion for singing and leading worship. Jonathan has recently begun to incorporate a hint of piano into his musical mix. At first, singing was a huge obstacle for Jonathan. From his childhood days until now, he admits he is an introvert, ?I am not really a talker. In order for me to best communicate what is going on in my head, I write and sing songs.? Jonathan says, ?I have been given breath to breathe and I intend not to waste it.? Jonathan is excited to have the opportunity to perform with many talented vocalists from around the area, in the 2013 Greer Idol.
